Sometimes my women clients find themselves in a rut of attracting married men. This is actually different than being attracted to married men. There are a number of reasons why married men might find you attractive:

1.  If you're dating in mid life, there are lots of married or unavailable men - that's just a fact. According to the census, 50% are taken, but that doesn't mean they stop looking or (for some) stop considering their options.

2. You are attractive. If you're a good looking woman who keeps herself in shape, men are going to look. This is actually positive because it proves that you are attractive. Think of this as flattery and evidence from the Universe of your appeal. But keep in mind, you don't need to follow up with any of these unavailable men.

3.  You're new, you're fun, you're fresh meat. This resembles the "New Cow Theory" from the movie of the same name with Ashley Judd and Hugh Jackman. The idea being that with cattle, bulls never want to mate with the same cow twice. They always want a new cow because they are ensuring survival of the species. Now women are not cows and men are not bulls, and all men don't always need a new woman. But some married men do have that grass is greener attitude.

However, all women do not run into this problem with the same frequency. For some, it seems like the only men attracted to them are married. So what's at the bottom of this attraction situation? Here are a few reasons why this might be happening. Maybe there's a part of you that:

Doesn't really believe you'll find a decent, available guy

Thinks all the good men are taken

Believes all men are scoundrels

Worries that you'll never have a good relationship


These beliefs can really get in the way of meeting single, available men. But I do have two powerful suggestions that may help shift your focus to imagining and MANifesting the right man for you:

1. Start believing that there are great single men out there. Think positively along these lines several times a day. Shifting your thinking opens you to more possibilities. Everyone wants to be right. Maybe you remain right about men, when you attract cheaters - proving your point - that there are no good men. Start believing there ARE good men, and make yourself right by finding evidence of good men out there.

2. Ask yourself, "What am I doing to meet men and am I really open to getting to know different types of guys? This exercise can be very revealing because often women discover they say "no" far more often than "yes" to meeting new men. See if you can say "yes" to a broader spectrum of guys online or where ever meet them and just try to get to know them as people. There are no perfect men (or women) but chances are very strong that there is someone just right for you.

So you finally got the courage together to ask her out and your getting ready to go out on you first date with her. Right now you may feel on top of the world and the wind is at your back.

1/ Learn to listen, in other words do not keep talking all the time. None one of us like being around people who just can't shut up. They may be the nicest people in the world, but their tendency to keep talking makes being in their company a little painful.

The first thing she will do as a result of this is look for reasons to not go on a second date. You would probably do the same if the roles were reversed.

4/ Do not go over the top with flowers and gifts. This can in some effect indicate that you are desperate. When you shower her in gifts she may get the impression that you are trying to buy her affection. Remember it's the thought that counts, keep it simple and subtle.

5/ Over complimenting, this one is kind of funny, here you are thinking you are doing the right thing, telling her she is beautiful every five minutes, when all the while she is thinking you lived on a mountain for ten years by yourself and she is the first woman you have met since you came down off the mountain, which leads me to point number six.

6/ Do not make her uncomfortable, in other words do not get too close too fast. Giver her space, let her do as much talking as possible, do not over engage and more importantly listen to what she is saying as this will reveal what makes her comfortable.

7/ Do not over or under dress - keep it casual; make sure your teeth are clean. Also make sure that there is no hair protruding from your nose or ears. Make sure your breath does not stink.

To conclude, a lot of this is common sense, make her comfortable, find out what her hot buttons are and engage in good conversation and before you know it you will be going on that second date.

They need much more because they are approached by so many different types of guys. That's 3,650 times a year (conservatively) that an attractive woman is hit on. She will start to see patterns in the ways guys behave if they are actually confident or not, and that has nothing to do with looks.

The compliance test is really a test to see whether or not they're going to be able to get away with whatever they want. Why you want to test this? Well, they want to find out whether or not you're used to beautiful women hitting on you or whether or not you're used to being with beautiful women.

This is an extremely critical componenet. If you are used to being with beautiful women, you will not bend over backwards for a beautiful woman just because she wants something.  But instead, you will respond in a way that sort of puts the compliance back on her.

There are other small things like "why don't you wait here while I go to the bathroom." or "give me a kiss on the cheek" or even "will you take a picture for us?"

They seems kind of harmless but they are not.  With the compliance test  she is measuring your self confidence and character.  You need to comply, however, what you want to do is take control over it and add your own conditions.

For instance, if someone says, "Take our pictures." Then you will say, "okay, I will but I want you to take one picture for you and one picture of how I ask you to take it." So if they refused to do this, and you go, "Alright, well find some other guy."

You will actually find some other guy to take the camera and say, "Hey man, can you take their picture?" And you just have them take your picture.

But usually they will say okay fine, you take the picture and you go "okay, now I want you to give me a sexy look." Then take their picture. "Okay now, make a silly face", take a picture. And continue to make them do different pictures as long as you can think of them.

In other words,  what you're doing now is you are getting compliance from them. This is vital. This is called flipping the script and you will hear a lot about this. Flipping the script is one of the most powerful things that you can do to a woman that you don't know and it will build a huge amount of intrigue and a huge amount of attraction.

So from now on, know and recognize when women is giving you a compliance test. Don't stop and don't reject the compliance test. Just add your own terms or conditions.

After you start doing this, you are going to see the really beautiful women in the bar start to treat you in a completely different manner. You'll see other guys naively approach beautiful women,  get turned down.  And subsequently it'll ruin their nights.  But on the other hand, you'll  know how to "roll" and easily navigate the sea of compliance tests and come out looking like a rockstar. This makes these beauties more and more attracted because you're the kind of guy who won't just do exactly what they want.
